Two SABC International managers have been suspended, the public broadcaster said on Thursday.

Head of Channel Saul Pelle "was suspended pending a disciplinary hearing" and International Editor Montlenyane Diphoko was suspended "pending an investigation into alleged misconduct," said SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago in a statement.

The SABC declined to provide any more details,

"The SABC would like to stress that these actions do not in any way amount to a pronouncement of guilt on the part of both employees," said Kganyago.
