Durban police on Monday morning arrested two men allegedly found in possession of stolen goods worth more than R10 million, a spokesman said.

"Our members were patrolling in the Warwick Junction area when they found men with goods stolen from Pep Store. The goods are worth more than R10 million," said Captain Khephu Ndlovu.

Among goods recovered were boxes full of clothes, 86 Nokia and 33 Samsung cellphones, 60 cellphone starter packs, a computer and bags.

Ndlovu said two men, including the driver of a mini bus which was going to be used to ferry goods, were arrested near the store.

Another man believed to be a Pep Store employee ran away.

The men gained access to the goods by breaking the store's wall.

They would appear in court soon, said Ndlovu.
