Police have arrested two foreigners in connection with a discount flight scam that netted almost R30-million.

A 33-year-old Ghanaian and his 25-year-old Nigerian girlfriend were taken into custody at their home in Cape Town.

It is believed they conned hundreds of people out of their money.

The police's Bernadine Steyn said, "The two suspects will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court tomorrow on charges of fraud, more charges may be added as the investigation progresses."
