The Gauteng Health Department says it will embark on a massive measles immunisation campaign in the next two weeks.

There has been a measles outbreak in the province with dozens of cases being confirmed in just the last two weeks.

The department's Mandla Sidu said they wanted to make sure as many people as possible were vaccinated against the disease.
