Five cleaners from the University of the Free State who appeared in the controversial Reitz Hostel mock initiation video have spoken about their humiliation for the first time in a British newspaper.
Four students made a video of the cleaners eating food which had apparently been urinated on.
One of the four women has told the Britain's Sunday Times she thinks about the video every day.
She says the boys were laughing so hard that there were tears in their eyes, adding she is still not sure what was in the food she was forced to eat.
The trial of the four young men who filmed the video will resume at the end of the month.
The men have since left the university and the hostel has been shut down.
