The family of a woman who was shot dead by Pretoria police officers at the weekend, have urged Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa to live up to his word and take the incident very seriously.
Mthethwa visited Olga Kekana's relatives in Mabopane on Wednesday.
Kekana was shot dead and two others were wounded, after the officers wrongly identified their vehicle as being hijacked.
The Independent Complaints Directorate is investigating the shooting.
Kekana's mother, Johana, says the minister promised to keep in touch with them.
"They came and apologised. They told me they are still going to investigate what happened and they are going to take it seriously," says Johana.
