Police have come under fire for not maintaining a security presence outside the Alexandra Clinic after a 24-year-old psychology intern was gunned down earlier this week.
Bianca Warburton was shot and killed during a botched hijacking as she drove out of the clinic on Wednesday.
Doctor Ali Bacher represents local NGO Right to Care and said attacks like these will scare medical staff away from hospitals in poor areas.
"Unless you're able to give workers there that it's a secure environment, people will question whether they should work there."
