More Johannesburg motorists have come forward claiming they were intimidated and abused by metro police officers.
Two weeks ago Laura Borah told Eyewitness News she was physically abused and then wrongfully arrested by a JMPD officer who pulled her over in the city centre.
At least five motorists have described being threatened and abused by metro cops in and around Johannesburg recently.
One man said he was beaten unconscious by Ekurhuleni metro cops who pulled over his wife for having the incorrect brake lights on her car.
Another woman said she was pulled over on Jan Smuts Road by JMPD officers who indicated they wanted a bribe.
When she did not cooperate they became aggressive.
Others have come forward saying metro cops in and around the city have abused their power by threatening arrest and intimidating them.
The JMPD and EMPD are investigating the allegations.
