Two matriculants and a teacher will appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court on Thursday after being found in possession of leaked 2009 matric exam papers.

One teacher and a learner were arrested earlier this week while another matriculant was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Police are now investigating if the papers may have been distributed to other people.

The police's Leornard Hlathi says they are facing several charges.

"We are charging them with being in possession unlawfully of mathematics paper one and two, physical science paper one and two, and accounting," says Hlathi.
