A Bryanston mother has urged the public to help her find her missing daughter and her friend.

Ten-year-old Thabiso Mkhize and Maria Ramploma were last seen at the Grosvenor BP petrol station on Thursday morning after leaving Bryanston Primary School.

The girls were wearing their school uniform of a grey skirt, a blue shirt and a short sleeved jersey with a badge.

Thabiso's mother Minnie Mkhize said, "My child was dropped at school by one of the parents. She went in and dropped her bag. She met her friend and went out of the school."
