Lawyers for Afrikaans singer and alleged paedophile Jurie Els will start cross-examining his accuser on Monday.

Els is on trial in the North Gauteng High Court for allegedly molesting fellow performer Robbie Klay when he was still a child.

He pleaded not guilty to the three charges against him.

The defence will try to discredit Klay and told the court there were several versions of his claims.

Klay spent most of last week telling the court in graphic detail how Els started grooming him when he was 11-years-old by showing him pornographic images and sex scenes in movies.

According to the younger performer, his former mentor often told him to get comfortable and take off his clothes after which Els would fondle his private parts before sodomising him.

Klay admitted he enjoyed his sexual relationship with Els but added he regretted allowing the older man to indecently assault him shortly before his 12th birthday.
