The North Gauteng High Court has heard Robbie Klay, the man who alleges he was molested by Afrikaans singer Jurie Els, is a liar.

Klay is testifying against Els who pleaded not guilty to the three charges against him.

Els's lawyers told the court Klay was lying about several of the graphic details he described in court last week.

Klay on Tuesday admitted he could not have been molested by Els before his 12th birthday.

He initially insisted the incidents happened in Els's Garsfontein home but finally conceded that was untrue when he was shown documents proving Els had not been living in the house at the time.

The defence pointed out several other discrepancies in the 23-year-old singer's testimony.

Several of the questions were met by long silences and for a second day in a row, Klay asked for paper to try and explain his story.
