A man will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly murdering a World War II fighter pilot.
Frans Swemmer was bludgeoned to death in his Waterkloof Ridge home on Thursday night.
His alleged killer was arrested hours after his body was discovered.
The suspect was arrested on Friday while driving around in Swemmer's Mercedes Benz in Hammanskraal.
He will face charges of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
It is believed the 36-year-old alleged killer and at least two other men attacked Swemmer on Thursday night.
He was beaten to death with a blunt object, presumably a hammer.
His body was found the next day by his girlfriend and a neighbour who had repeatedly phoned a security company, only to be told everything was in order at Swemmer's house.
Got something to say?
