'5m from my wall'

Several Laudium residents have accused the Tshwane Metro Council of sitting by idly, while a land grab is underway right under their noses.
It is understood hundreds of people stream into the Itireleng informal settlement every day as stands are sold illegally.
Residents say they have repeatedly informed the council of the growing number of squatters on their door step yet nothing is being done.
"People say they are paying rent to somebody and the council cannot even find out who they are paying rent to," says a resident.
"They said this area will not be extended but it has now extended to five metres from my wall," says another.
It is understood an eviction order was granted in the North Gauteng High Court earlier this year but it is unclear if and when it will be executed.
Council officials would not say what action will be taken to stop the invasion.
Instead, they referred all enquiries to the capital's metro police force saying it is a security issue.
