The North Gauteng High Court heard on Tuesday that singer Robbie Klay?s mother admitted to a psychologist she should have figured out her child was being molested.

Jenny Liebenberg on Monday testified she never thought Jurie Els had anything to do with Klay's changed behaviour.

Els is on trial on three charges to which he has pleaded not guilty.

A psychologist told the court when she interviewed Liebenberg, she said she should have been able to put two and two together.

Liebenberg told the court she never considered the possibility her child was being molested.

Dr Elsabe Swanepoel said Klay suffered from several symptoms corresponding to male survivors of child sexual abuse.

She told the court the young performer was battling to deal with depression and anxiety brought on by the alleged molestation.
