Gauteng residents should not pack their umbrellas and raincoats away just yet.

Even though the weather is expected to be warmer over the next few days the rainfall is set to resume later on this week.

The South African Weather Service said from Thursday onwards the Highveld sky would cloudy and dark.

But the service's Evert Scholtz said it will not be as cold as last week.
