The case involving apartheid victims and several multinational companies will be heard in a New York court this week.
The victims are accusing companies such as General Motors and IBM of funding and supporting the apartheid regime.
The South African Apartheid Litigation Team said they will provide evidence that these corporations supported the apartheid regime in various ways. If found guilty they may have to pay out billions of dollars in compensation.
The case has been in court for the past nine years and the plaintiffs say they just want justice.
Got something to say?
