More details are beginning to emerge about the circumstances surrounding the apparent kidnapping and murder of Teazers lawyer Ian Jordaan.
It now appears that investigators have secured CCTV footage from the day in question.
On Wednesday morning, Jordaan's burnt-out car and a body were found near Hekpoort on Gauteng's West Rand.
Last week, Eyewitness News (EWN) revealed that R1.8-million was transferred out of an account which Jordaan was using to hold money for slain strip club boss Lolly Jackson.
The CCTV footage shows a man and an accomplice arriving to collect Jordaan's laptop from his Norwood office on Tuesday afternoon. The two suspects were using his car to collect the goods.
But police have not been able to isolate a frontal image of the suspect.
The receptionist who handed over the computer has given investigators a description of a well-built black man, who she thought could be from West Africa.
Identikits are now being drawn up.
Police are now turning to Jordaan's parents for a sample to confirm the identity of the dead person, EWN reported.
This after Jordaan's brother supplied authorities with a DNA sample. But police said the tests were not entirely conclusive.
His parents have now been asked to assist in the matter.
The tests are being conducted by the police's specialised unit.
Authorities said the clothes and the body's description match those of Jordaan.
