A Cape Town woman who had been protesting against the construction of the Chapman's Peak toll plaza has been arrested.
Bronwen Lankers-Byrne is set to appear in court on Wednesday.
Toll road operator Entilini had apparently accused her of spray-painting parts of the site.
Several members of the Civil Rights Action Group protested to halt the building of the multi-million Rand offices and toll plaza along the scenic route.
Police spokesperson Frederick can Wyk said: "We can confirm that one of the ladies was arrested for malicious damage to property."
