A 48-year-old man has been arrested for reckless and negligent driving after going 212km an hour in a 120km zone, Gauteng police said on Sunday.
The man, apparently a mine manager from Witbank, was arrested around 8.30am near the PetroPort on the N14 going towards Pretoria, spokesperson Busaphi Nxumalu said.
"He was taken to Muldersdrift SAPS where he was formally charged and will be appearing in the Krugersdorp Magisterial Court tomorrow [Monday] morning," he said.
The State will submit a witness statement that there was non-stop fighting at Oscar Pistorius' home.
The Western Cape government is "purging" itself of black staff, according to the ANC in the province.
