Police have begun clearing up the scene from a fatal bus accident on Monday in Meyerton.
The death toll from the accident rose to 19 and 55 were left injured.
It is alleged the Putco bus overturned on a bridge, causing it to plunge into a ravine.
Paramedics were on the scene to pull bodies out from the crash site while police lined up body bags on the side of the road.
A heavy-duty truck with a fitted crane removed the bus from the ravine.
Traffic around the area was redirected as emergency personnel cleared the scene.
Although the cause of the accident remains unclear, police were combing the scene in search of clues.
