The body of a suspected stowaway has been found on an aeroplane which had flown from Cape Town to London.
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) says the corpse of an unidentified man was discovered on a British Airways plane on Thursday morning, after it touched down at Heathrow Airport.
ACSA's Deidre Hendricks says on Wednesday night a person was spotted scaling a fence at Cape Town International Airport.
She says security guards gave chase but lost the man.
"This morning reports from Heathrow Airport confirmed that a stowaway was found onboard a British Airways aircraft. The person was found dead."
