A manhunt is underway for a father who allegedly kidnapped his seven-year-old daughter at Waterkloof Primary School on Wednesday morning.
Pura Pahlo had been living in foster care, but was apparently taken by her father, Ray, with the help of four Zimbabwean nationals posing as police officers at the Gauteng school.
The four had since been arrested.
Police spokesperson Annabelle Middleton said police believed that Pahlo was fleeing in the direction of either Lesotho or Zimbabwe.
"He took the little girl and he left in a grey Mercedes-Benz C230". The registration number was SPR 947 GP.
