The South African Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) says the strike by technicians and maintenance employees at South African Airways (SAA) will be entering its second week.
Workers downed tools last week demanding a 6.5 percent increase.
But the airline offered a last minute increase of 6.4 percent which angered members who reverted to their initial demand of 12 percent.
The union's Vincent Masoga.
"They will continue to protest at the very same place where we have been protesting which is at the main entrance of South African Airways technical. We do not want to negotiate anymore, but they will have to come back and negotiate."
