Education Minister Naledi Pandor and ANC Youth League President Julius will meet on Tuesday afternoon to discuss problems at tertiary institutions, the league said.

The meeting would be about the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) strike and problems at other tertiary institutions, said league spokesman Floyd Shivambu in a statement on Tuesday.

Malema was widely criticised for remarks he made about Pandor while speaking to TUT students last week.

"She must use that fake accent to address our problems," he told students.

Malema sent an apology to Pandor the next day.

"I acknowledge that the remarks I made against you were uncalled for and might have disappointed and hurt you," it read.

Tuesday's meeting, in Boksburg, Johannesburg, would be followed by a short media briefing, Shivambu said.
