ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema will appear in the Equality Court on Thursday.

The Sonke Gender Justice Network has brought the legal action against Malema after he allegedly said the woman who accused President Jacob Zuma of raping her in 2006 enjoyed her time in his bedroom.

The justice network says it wants Malema to say sorry.

He made the controversial comment while addressing a gathering at the Cape Peninsula University in January.

The allegations were leveled against Jacob Zuma in 2006.

The charges were dropped after a lengthy trial.

Malema might be in for a surprise on Thursday after the network asked for a postponement so it could amend its complaint against him.

He will find out what is been added to the court action.
