President Robert Mugabe is expected to attend a service for the late wife of his new Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai on Tuesday.

A church service is to be held in Harare's Mablereign suburb.

Officials close to Tsvangirai said Mugabe is expected to attend a short service at the Mablereign Methodist Church in the morning along with diplomats and government officials.

Susan Tsvangirai will be laid to rest on Wednesday Morning at her Rural home in Buhera.

Mugabe has announced that she would be given a state-assisted funeral.
