The Vice President of Zimbabwe's Commercial Farmers' Union Deon Theron was slapped with a fresh charge over the car accident that killed Susan Tsvangirai.
Theron arrived at the crash scene soon after it happened and recorded footage — he was summoned by police on Tuesday.
His lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa said he was charged with obstructing the police in the course of their duties.
Theron's farm was near the scene of the crash that killed Tsvangirai's wife in March.
Soon after the crash, Theron filmed the scene.
He said he asked the police if he could and was given the go-ahead.
Theron's lawyer said they were worried footage from the farmer’s confiscated camera would be tampered with.
