Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has spoken at the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit chiding the West for having double standards.

He said western countries fall short of addressing global warming, while taking developing countries to task over human rights.

The group of developing nations has stalled the UN Summit.

They believe richer countries will not meet their commitment to cut their greenhouse gas emissions and help those who will be worst affected.

"When these capitalist gods of carbon burp and belch their dangerous emissions, it's we, the lesser mortals of the developing sphere who gasp and sink and eventually die," Mugabe said, according to AFP.

There were only two days left of the summit and many world leaders will be arriving in the Danish capital on Thursday.
