African National Congress Youth League President Julius Malema said he would continue to be critical of government to ensure the ruling party's promises are delivered.

Jacob Zuma was officially sworn in as the country's fourth President since democracy at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Saturday.

Zuma will pronouncement on his new Cabinet on Sunday.

Malema expressed confidence that the President would deliver on his promises but he would not stop pressuring him to do the right thing.

"We are already putting pressure on President Zuma to put together a Cabinet that will respond to the needs of our people not a Cabinet of friends or people who think that President Zuma owes them something.

"We need a strong team that will deliver to our people. Our rule will be to speak for the working class the poor who voted for the ANC," said Malema emphatically.
