ANC members in Gauteng gathered at the Johannesburg City Hall on Sunday for a provincial general council
The event was to be addressed by Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe and other members of the provincial executive committee (PEC).
Top officials including Johannesburg mayor Amos Masondo, Arts and Culture Deputy Minister Paul Mashatile, community safety MEC Khabisi Mosunkutu were attending the event.
The council follows a PEC lekgotla held on Saturday.
