— THE UNITED STATES: The United States is the second country to have a confirmed swine flu death. The number of confirmed cases of swine flu in the United States stands at 118 spread across 15 states. The WHO lists 109 cases with one fatality.
— CONFIRMED INFECTIONS: According to figures from the national authorities the United States has 118, Mexico 312, Canada 34, Germany 4, Britain 8, Israel 2, New Zealand 4, Spain 13, Austria 1, Costa Rica 2, Netherlands 1, Switzerland 1.
