Zimbabwe peace activist Jestina Mukoko is waiting for a key judgment on Monday that could see charges of terrorism against her dropped.
Mukoko wants the court to rule that her abduction, detention and torture at the hands of state agents last year violated her constitutional rights ? she filed an application in the Supreme Court nine months ago.
Mukoko was accused of recruiting bandits to topple President Robert Mugabe's former government but she denied the charges.
Mukoko also wants the court to say her constitutional rights were violated when she was abducted from her home in December, detained in secret and tortured.
If the court rules in her favour it may also stop the prosecution of around a dozen Movement for Democratic Change activists who face similar charges.
Got something to say?
